So! Applications for Perth’s Fringe World (23 Jan – 22 Feb) are now open, and so far I’m taking two shows. Bart Freebairn – Double Happiness and Adam Knox Has Not Named His Show Yet (I made that up just now for the benefit of this post, but it’s not the worst name I’ve heard so if it comes down to it, that’s what I’m calling it).

I’ve produced Adam before. His debut show Adam Knox Is All Washed Up was the first MICF show I worked on. Bart is a brand new addition to the fold. He’s one of my favourite comics, all around A+ guy and also my flatmate so all our meetings can occur in the kitchen while I’m wearing my pajamas.

I’m also co-producing Stuart Daulman for Perth with my Born Lucky partner Ben Vernel. We are producing his show for Melbourne Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and MICF 2015 as well.

Now, I don’t want to scare anyone (I do) but Adelaide Fringe applications open THIS FRIDAY EEEEH!!! I had a great time at Adelaide Fringe this year, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can do for next year.  A great venue can make all the difference, and this year we were lucky enough to be at the Producer’s Bar which was programmed by the excellent Marcel Blanche-de Wilt. (He has a rad podcast called The Loose Five. Listen to it.)

NZ Fringe applications opened yesterday and close on 8 Oct. The festival runs from 20 February – 14 March.

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2015 applications for festival managed venues are OPEN NOW and close October 10. General applications open October 1 and close November 21.

I’ve opened up applications for The Imperial Hotel for MICF 2015. Info and the form are here.  They will close October 30. Some shows will be confirmed before then, but some wont.

Speaking of MICF 2015, I had decided a while ago that I would only be producing one newcomer solo show for next year and I now have that show! Peter Jones, who is 3 Little Gigs alumni will be doing his first solo and (of course) appearing at The Imperial Hotel.

I will leave you with this very important picture.
