One of my brothers “friends” last night got drunk and totally smashed up his house when my brother was out.

He smashed the front door, some windows, an internal glass sliding door, pulled all the food out of the fridge and smeared it into the carpet, filled the washing machine with food, broke shelves in the fridge, smashed pool cues, tipped up all the couches and the pool table, smashed my brothers cd player that his mates got him for his birthday last week.. etc etc

They had just spent about 300 dollars on groceries yesterday and a lot of it was seafood. It all went in to the carpet and down the edges of the kitchen lino. The carpet also has shattered glass in it everywhere. It will have to be replaced.

I reek of seafood and marinade. I feel bad for my baby brother. I am annoyed that we had to clean up and worry about this at Christmas.

but mostly I am sad the day went sans appology
